. An impressive chieftains stool. The seat supported by four standing figures, alternating male and female. The figures are depicted with rounded shoulders, oval heads and regional scarification. The rim of the seat is adorned with incised geometric patterns. The seat bears a tacked tin piece to convey power to the user. Aged dark patina and rim losses. Much wear from use. Height 18.5 inches, diameter 15.5 inches.
