Thailand, 17th C. Terra cotta tomb guardians. These small, demonic tomb guardians are probably from a provincial tomb. They take the form of creatures with bulging eyes and folded bat wings. Sculpted from course clay they have good detail. Some minor firing flaws. H: approx. 6.75 inches.
