From the Island of Savu, Indonesia, a warp ikat woman's sarong. The large ikat design band counter balanced by a plain field and then numerous subsidiary bands with smaller ikat designs. The vintage indigo colored textiles of Savu are now much less frequently encountered and sought after by collectors.
