The Nuna women of Burkina Faso, crafted these pottery jars to store water and dry food. They are hand built, using the anvil and paddle technique and after texturing the lower body, handles which are unique to the Nuna, are luted into place.
This attractive jar has minor rim frits from use and age but is other wise free of cracks or damage
