Indonesia, Kalimantan. Apokayan People Early, vintage, mans ceremonial jacket/vest. Body adorned with cowrie shells, front and back. Red trade cloth collar and arm bands. Two lower band fragments with remnants of embroidery. Fringe around the bottom. Shows much age and wear with losses in the lower bands. A very desirable piece.
