Indo Persian, Mughal Silver Box
In the style for which the Mughal craftsmen became noted, this elegant box has a fluted body accebted with rope twist silver wire. The finial is spherical and mounted on a circular silver collar worked with traditional designs.
Usually called a bon bonier or sweets box.
Minor abrasion and small dents associated with use and age.
Approximately 6" in height and 6" in diameter.
