A Sevres Bisue sculpture By Paul Ducuing , ( 1867-1949) Commissioned by the French Government to create a sculpture honoring the victorious US Service men and women who served in France during WW 1, Ducuing chose to portray a youthful infantryman going home withe his trophy, a German Spiked helmet.

Ducuing in celebrated for his attention to detail as can be sen in this work. Few of these bisque works have survived making this a desirable addition to any collection.

Figure is 10" in height on anoval base of 4"
