A very good example of an Antique Dayak Mandau. The blade is narrow at the hilt, widening gradually toward the point, the tip in a style known as Mandau Sland refering to the Tribe. The blade is hand forged with a single edge, one side slightly convex and the other concave. The condition of the blade is unaltered orignal and has not been cleaned. The style of the blade tip is called Lidjib and suggests that it is from the region of Kutai.
The side knife,(Pisau rant) is missing.
The overall length is 24", the blade is 19.6"
