A beautifully carved figure of a seated Bodhisattva. Originally covered in gesso to allow for the frequent repainting that occurs during religious observations. Some hints of color remain in the areas where the gesso is protected. Seated on a raised lotus pillar.
The left forearm is missing as is some of the ornamentation on the pillar.
