The Koummya is a variant of the Jambiya and was considered an essential element of male attire in 19th C.  Morrocco.
This dagger has the traditional peacock tail pommel with an ebony wood hilt, inlayed with both metal and brass. The scabbard is made of brass, overlaid with silver, incised with traditional patterns. Overall length, 15.5,
