From the Ashanti People, Ghana, a classic style stool with a unique artistic motif. The seat of the stool is supported by artistically rendered Baboons, seated back to back. Nice patina with the worn to a honey color. There appears to be a loss to what ever was in the hand of one of the monkeys and dehydration cracks on one side of the monkey heads..
